Any info on the radar installed on the Block III? I think the upgrade revolves around the radar, the stations, and the sensors.
Lot of suspense and anticipation involving the radar.

Unconfirmed rumor has it that ... it is being assembled locally with foreign assistance but the proprietorship of the source code and firmware will be with Pakistan. It could be a modification of the Chinese NRIET KLJ-7A AESA with additional provision for western munitions.

Will be on pines and needles till you do @Khafee Sahib.
Things are on track. The Tiawanese deal is done, so now they are working on the PAF ones. They are quite ,because of the village idiot who lives next to you, otherwise it would have been announced much earlier. Once the green light comes from Congress, they will issue a DSCA notification

as far as I know the KLJ-7A and LKF601E from us are being evaluated and the Italian VIXEN-1000 is being proposed too.

From what I have heard is that LKF601E might get the nod for retrofitting existing JF-17s as it is air cooled and doesn't need anything else to be changed ... just swap in with the existing mechanically scanned KLJ-7Mk.2. The one from Leonardo that was being evaluated was Grifo-E (according to Alan Warnes of Air Force Monthly) and not the Vixen-1000. For the Block-III, my earlier post on the topic is the best I can come up with i.e. a locally assembled (perhaps modified) version based on the wide angled KLJ-7A AESA. But again, this is all based on unconfirmed chit chat from online forums.

sir where would up gradation of f 16 take place ?
Right now, that is undecided. But if I were to make a speculative guess, then I would say Norway is quite a possibility.

sir would the up gradation process be squadron by squadron ? and what would be the alternative in that time?

I really dont know how the PAF would do it, but going by how the Taiwanese did it, the oldest birds get the upgrades first. 2~4 at a time. But it all depends on the customer, and Lockheed.

I heard from other forums too, that the LFK601E was evaluated by the PAF and turned out to be successful, the only difference between the LFK601E and KLJ-7A is it's TR modules. LKF601E has 864 Modules and KLJ-7A has close to 1,000 modules. so it could be a possibility to equip the Block Is & IIs with the LFK601E and the Block IIIs with KLJ-7A
