JF17 uses RD93(Russian engine)...a Chinese equivalent that can be used on JF17 is the WS13.

engines colored yellow...are of Russian origin.

haven't seen them in air recently, last year like i mentioned before saw atleast twice an aircraft which was not a regular sight, but nothing after that, why is that? they are kept in hangers? they fly a different route?

one thing puzzles me is that wouldn't india been bitching about J-10's and F-16's by now with availability of sat images?

When you saw them, they were at Masroor, and because people are not blind, and could see twin engines, they were moved to Bholari.

They are part of Quad, what are they going to do? Kill Lockheeds business, piss everyone off about being a dehati aurat, and screw things up royally for themselves? I think they know their auqat.

Can you share sat images ? Not following these things lately due to lack of interest

i don't have access to sat images, i am sorry if my above post created confusion, what i meant to say is that i am sure indian military has access to sat images of our bases which give them more real time situational awareness than commercially available google earth

Lack of interest? Man I've been dying here with my impatience ever since @Khafee disclosed all these things. Every day I login here and at another website...just hoping to find that PAF or Pak government has disclosed these new acquisitions. I cannot wait to see these new jets...especially F16 Block 70/72...
...or is it J10...hmm that would make Indians cry hard...and then declare Chinese aircrafts junk and proclaim victory...that would be a lovely sight...
...or maybe J15s...how refreshing it would be to see twin heavies in PAF...and that too a flanker. I can't make up my mind...I want them all...I'm too greedy.

These are jets...not some girl that a guy was interested in...and then after some years of being married to her...he has lost interest ~^~

I love fighter jets...I love to read up about everything I can find on them, look at their pics and videos, etc.

Lol I work 6 days a week(overworking myself bcuz planning on buying a house... hopefully next year).

It's whatever free time I get(if any)...is split between family/friends and my hobbies...one of which is keeping up with stuff like this bcuz idk why...stuff like this just appeals to me...always has since I was little. Wanted to join the air force myself while growing up...but didn't end up going that route(story for another day).
So yeah no matter how busy I get...if there's any free time whatsoever...some of it will for sure be spent in this manner ^-^

Someone should contact PAF and tell them to get their tail art in order. It looks horrible minus the one the turkish artist did. I hope they invest in some local illustrator team and come up with good tail art. Especially for the J-10s.
