Britain's future Ajax Armored Fighting Vehicle. The Ajax is planned to begin entering British Service in 2017 and full operation capability by 2019. The Main Armament is the newly developed CT-40 Cannon and secondary armament is the L94A1 Coaxial MG. The Ares variant of the Ajax will have the Kongsberg Protector Remote Weapon Station. Britain will order around 600 Ajax vehicles with deliveries to begin in 2017 with deliveries to end in 2026. In August of 2015 Germany's Rheinmetall Signed a contract with the UK to Manufacture the turrets while the British company Meggitt will produce the Ammunition.
