It is very important to understand that internet is vast and constantly growing and what we use only scratches the surface. The Dark Web is a website which refers to series of the websites which may be available to general public but the IP address of the websites are encrypted and kept private. Dark, deep or ultra deep web ......... there are no excuses for a healthy breathing lively society to commit crimes and abuses.

These things get successful because we humans make them successful, we afford them space.

Pakistani children and its citizen are responsibility of the state ......... if State mans up and start looking after and building a healthy society no amount of dark, deep web can affect them or move them.

I wanted to check out what it is...so, downloaded TOR and then went there only to get disappointed. I had a list of links I wanted to check out. There are several search engines and they keep a directory of sites...their url and what the sites are about. But them most of the urls don't work. Sometimes it shows message that this site has been moved. The ones that worked like some credit card scamming site or illegal drug selling site...they look so fake that it wasn't even funny. Just by looking at the site it seems fake. The sites lack professional touches and proper maintenance. I mean if you really set this site up to do business then at least have some professional built it. No one would believe that you want to do somethin real with a cr@ppy looking site where things are dysfunctional.

Ok, for those who don't know what really is dark web and deep web.

When you search something on a search engine, your search goes through layers of servers. The results shown are known as indexed web pages. In other words, indexed web pages are something that appears on a google search. (Although it's only about 4% of all the web pages in the world as the OP mentioned)

There are results that are not shown in normal google searches. That may even include your online bank account (yeah that can be called deep web), it's not indexed for security reasons. To access dark web pages you need something called a Tor browser. Tor's users employ this network by connecting through a series of virtual tunnels rather than making a direct connection, thus allowing both organizations and individuals to share information over public networks without compromising their privacy. For security, you need to use Tor browser bundle.

Dark web is just an encrypted network between your Tor server and the clients and the deep web is a database which is not indexed may be because of security reasons or for some shady reasons. And the dark web is not necessarily all bad. It's where you can be free without the government breathing down your neck, checking on what you are doing.

That brings to the next part, which is illegal activities going on. Which is quite obvious, if the government cannot access such information, there will be bad people who take advantage of it. So, if you are accessing the dark web, you need a burner email, never give out your name, whoever is managing these servers cannot know your place. Then never give credit card information on shady web pages, be it p0rn or anything. And that's when cryptocurrency becomes handy.
Anyway, there are no friends there. Nobody wants to be your friend and you don't want to make friends there. If you ever come across any threats just don't be alarmed, the stories people hiring hitman is just hot air. Although that may be true, it's for the ultra guys. And kid you not, it's not easy to get there.
