sounds like both Bavaria, Berlin signed a major agreement that will be going on for 2 years. according to what I read both will conduct joint exercises every so often and both will help modernize, train their new CTUs (counter-terrorism unit) officers in the SEKs with newer training and weaponry. both Berlin and Bavaria plan on acquiring the FN SCAR-H PR DMR soon

Great Loadout. can not see the logic behind having two rifles. The knee pads look more practical than the normal ones.

a lot of our Police forces are moving away from the G36 and transitioning to the HK416, Haenel CR.223, SIG MCX etc. Bavaria was the first state to actually accomplish such a task. the G36s and MP5s are now used by basic patrol officers, while the SEK are equipped with newer and better weaponry.
only states I know that are not are Niedersachsen, Saarland, Rheinland-Pfalz and Thüringen but that is because their budgets are not as huge

In some units, members are given the flexibility, to choose thier own weapons from a selection.

Each weapon performs differently, so everyone has a different comfort level, hence this logic.
