SAAB J-29 TUNNEN ( barrel ) born in the tick of the Cold War , in order to defend its neutrality SWEDEN built more than 600 examples including 30 for the AUSTRIAN AF being small and vulnerable the country had and still has to rely on herself for manufacturing capable weapons to counter any threat from her giant Soviet Union at that time... the TUNNEN could match the MIG-15 and may outrun it.. an excellent platform ugly may but great to look at ..
