The Russian Defense Minister visited Iran, where he attended an exhibition of the aerospace forces of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Iran has released footage of the launch and impact of the Fath hypersonic missile. The Iranian two-stage solid-propellant medium-range hypersonic ballistic missile "Fath" was developed by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and was first shown in 2023. The missile is capable of delivering a warhead weighing up to 450 kg to a range of up to 1,400 kilometers. The "Fath" high-precision missile, due to its second-stage solid fuel engine, is capable of maneuvering in the atmosphere and beyond at speeds of up to 18,000 km/h to overcome the air defense position areas of a potential enemy.
