It was announced during the parade that the Polonez MLRS is able to perform surgical strikes simultaneously on eight targets at a distance of over 200 km. Belarusian army will receive its first MLRS in 2016.

The reported performance of the Polonez MLRS and the characteristic shape of its square missile containers lead military experts to suggest that the system uses a high-precision long-range rocket from China. It is most likely that it is using 301-mm rockets A200 developed and produced by China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology (CALT, also known as the "First Academy"), part of the Chinese state-owned aerospace company China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC). The system is marketed globally by CASC foreign trade association Aerospace Long-March International Trade Co., Ltd (ALIT), as well as Poly Technologies.

It has to be noted that State Secretary of Security Council of Belarus Alexander Mezhuev visited China in April. Mezhuev had meetings with the leaders of the two trade unions of the corporation CASC - with the president of China Great Wall Industry Corporation (CGWIC, specialized on the export of missile and space products) and President Yin Liming ALIT (specializing in the export of defense products) Go Chzhaopinom.

Belarus became the launch customer for the A200 missile system. Launch A200 caliber 301 mm at a length of 7264 mm and 615 mm with wing stabilizers. The missile weight is 750 kg. Warhead (three different types) are separated, combined guidance system - inertial satellite correction (GPS). Firing range is from 50 to 200 km. A salvo of eight missiles on eight different targets can be achieved in 50 seconds, while preparing to launch takes 8 minutes.
