Scary but this is the future. Many countries are opposing LARS (Lethal Autonomous Robotic Systems) as war does involve emotions and human decision making. These robots will do how they are programmed that could include mass level killings with no remorse.

And we are really garbage people to not invest in AI and Machine Learning. Ai is the highest investment / R&D priority of many top tech firms in the world such as apple, google, amazon etc. And are our Software engineers, making stupid calculators and basic level software with obsolete features and then we ask “wHY iS iNDiA cApTUring world IT MARKET”

Without a proper social safety net, people will work on things that pay now, rather than what might pay in the future.

And I know some of our developers working on some really cool projects. They, however, work as remote consultants for western companies so those products sell with western brandings without anyone knowing about the Pakistani hands that weaved it in place.

Without government support, we will continue have our talents spent building everyone else's visions.

Haven't enough idea about Pakistani universities, but USA and Malaysia are not near to German education system. German Engineering fields I mean, no idea about other subjects.

Germany might have a better education system overall but in terms of rankings, there isn't any comparison with top US engineering colleges like MIT, Stanford or UC Berkley.

Internet is a good source of information but a man living in an environment knows better.

Not talking about overall, just about Engineering and research. German universities can't rank high because most of their publications are in German language.

In Germany, Universities receive research projects from big and small companies. Professor divides the research into modules and his students are allocated with these modules. A fresh student gets his hand dirty in practice. This is the system I am talking about, and this is system in every German university. In first semester, I had to participate in a Benz CF rims project and that's the case in every university. No tuition fee, and other facilities to students are not there in USA. Education level is almost same in each of the 339 Engineering universities. Children of middle and lower middle class get equal chance in research and tech as of any rich person.
Education is not an industry in Germany, like in USA or elsewhere and when something is an industrial product, advertisement can make it, what it's actually not in reality. So the industrialist would earn more from its actual value.
Now how many Stanford and MIT are there in USA ?

Yes, there is difference between international course and local course in Germany. Local course is more in depth than international.

I did already agree with you that Germany probably has a better education system because of its socialist nature. But top US universities (of which there are plenty) have few equivalents in Europe and abroad.

University ranking is based on publications and already mentioned that German universities have very little part in English publications. Also, the company financed researches are properties of respective companies. These are not even normally published, and kept secret. What would be purpose of finance if one company provide finance and a rival gains more from same research.

A phd student publishes a research in MIT and ranking gets higher. What that ranking has to do with a student in first semester? It's just an advertisement. As, education in US is an industry to earn money, that's how an industry works.

Field medals are not biased by language of publications, nor advertisements.

Well, I'll concede this over to you since you seem to have done your research, but I do still find it hard to believe. While the US doesn't have a standardized system of research disbursal, particularly among freshmen, internships are easy to come by and students are encouraged to find one early on and get hands on experience.

So simple was it, keep Germany and US out.
A student gets a lot of practical work from companies
and a student gets little to zero practical work from any company.

One has practical knowledge and one has theoractical. Whose knowledge would be better?
