Saudi Arabia, South Korea Discuss Cooperation in Defense

Saudi Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, met in Riyadh Sunday with South Korea’s Minister for Acquisition of Defense Programs Chang Myung Jin.
During the meeting, they reviewed the friendly relation between the two countries and discussed ways of joint cooperation in defense fields, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Defense Minister Mohammed Al-Ayesh; Chief of General Staff General Abdulrahman Al-Bunyan; Consultant at the Royal Court and General Supervisor of the Defense Minister’s Office Fahd Al-Isa; and Director General of the Defense Minister's Office Dr. Husham Al Al-Sheikh.
On the Korean side, the meeting was attended by Korea’s Ambassador to the Kingdom Kwon Pyung Oh; Director General for the Defense Industries Development office Major General Won Jin; and Defense Attaché at the Korean Embassy in Riyadh Col. Cheon Jae.
Earlier this month, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulazizmet at his office in Riyadh with Turkmen Minister of Defense Yaylym Berdiyew.
During the meeting which took place on 01 May, they also discussed means of developing cooperation between the two countries in the field of defense.
