Ian Gregor The public affairs manager for the Federal Aviation Administration confirmed that the US CH-53E military helicopter CRASHES in Plaster City California
The official page of Naval Air Facility El Centro wrote: “We are currently still responding to what we have confirmed as a single helicopter incident.“We ask that you continue to be patient with us as the situation unfolds.”
Helicopter crashed around 4pm local time (12am GMT) about six miles away from Plaster City in Imperial County
Fire and security units from the naval facility responded to the scene along with other helicopters
Public affairs officer for NAF El Centro, Kristopher Haugh, said: "Our thoughts and prayers go out to the brave service members and their families affected by this incident.
"We are thankful for the efforts of all who have responded to the scene and provided assistance.”
