I think the confusion may be explainable if the J-10P is a stealthy J-10 variant - thus the confusion created about a stealth "J-20" like fighter.

Actual news given by @Khafee but many months back Sami ibrahim Vlog he said about J series jetts when Gen Bajwa and IK visited Beijing and president Shi said to duo take what ever you need China will provide you and IK said Pak will pay for the toys sami said pilots are already in China for training then we saw flood of VT4, 155 artillery, more Type 54 now J15 and J10 so Sami was correct too. This shows China assertiveness in region and value of Pak and her future in region.
