I subscribe to various newsletters and videos from the White House and they sent me this video on Obama's explanation as to why he authorized the operations in Iraq. Thought you guys might be interested in hearing what he has to say.

n this week’s address, the President detailed why he authorized two operations in Iraq—targeted military strikes to protect Americans serving in Iraq and humanitarian airdrops of food and water to help Iraqi civilians trapped on a mountain by terrorists.
