A PAF F-16 crashed during the rehearsals of 23rd March Pakistan Day Parade in Islamabad.
Wing commander Noman Akram OC 9 Squadron was flying the jet. He won the Sher Afgan Trophy last year. It's not confirmed whether he ejected or not.

That was very dangerous maneuver

I hope the flight was able to eject safely.

Any idea folks?

Has been confirmed that he was unable to eject?

He ejected but passed away due to head injuries... Last call. He tried to save the jet but couldn’t so in the very last moment...

Its not unusual to have plane crash during air shows and such maneuvers... But judging by the video, the plane accelerates massively on the way down. That is very odd.

@Scorpion Seems like Ejection failed, use your eagle eyes like you exposed the Iranian Air Defence missile earlier, what do you see here ? An ejection ?

Looks like the canopy was still on right at the ground, but may have blown off in that very moment. Looks like he was trying to recover.

He was in level flight just before the crash but not enough speed to pull up. He had pulled the aircraft away from built up areas.

That ruled out the claim that the pilot went unconscious due to the G-force as we all know F-16 of that variant does not have Auto-GCAS.
I can deduce from the video that he tried to pullup the jet but could not make it, he was able to complete the maneuver though but not to pull the nose probably tried to throw the jet somewhere away from populated areas.

If you notice in the video the plane diving fast toward the ground, I think the pilot let up on pressure to the stick in attempt at stopping G-lok. This is a description from a F-18 pilot.

If you haven't yanked on the pull, there are times when you can experience the various stages up to G-LOC and let up on the stick pressure to keep from entering sleepy time. The tunnel vision, loss of color vision, sparkly peripheral vision, and a few others are good indicators that you're at the edge. That next step, black out, is a fine slice between here and not here.
