Britain is to spend £280m over the next ten years on updating and strengthening it's defence of the Falkland Islands. The plans were announced after reports that Argentina are to loan 12 long-range bombers from Russia and whilst the Defence Secretary, Michael Fallon, will not confirm this, he did state that they needed to be prepared for "future and possible threats" to the island.
