It does look like an F15, who fired his afterburners, then deployed two flares. A missile hits it, but the F-15 continues on it's flight path.

The pilot tried out outrun the missile using his afterburner, but that did not seem to work, and neither did the flares misguide the missile.

Yes, it is a F-15.
I read that the pilot made a huge professional mistake, he didn't try to escape with a high G manouever but ignited AB and followed his collission path with the missile. I don't know the type of the interceptor missile,
but if it was a RF guided pilot could have used his ECM suite and fire Chaff instead.
What type of AD missiles have the Houthis to engage a high flying modern jet ?

It looks like the missile exploded an inch away from the jet due to the greater heat around the jet.
