Car bomb in southern Thailand injures 7 police, 2 civilians

An improvised car bomb blast injured 9 people including 7 police officers in southern Thailand. Muslim insurgents are the main suspect in that attack in Pattani province according to Col. Keerati Waeyoosoh. The report is hinting of a Muslim insurgency in the southern provinces since Thailand is predominantly a Buddhist country.
