China Lists Weapons to be Used in Border Conflict with India

Chinese State-owned media has listed tanks, howitzers, Helicopters and other weapons to be used in a potential border conflict with India.
“Since the Doklam standoff with India in 2017, the Chinese military has expanded its arsenal with weapons like the Type 15 tank, Z-20 helicopter and Wing Loong II (GJ-2) combat drone that should give China the advantage in high-altitude conflicts should they arise,” Chinese military analysts were quoted as saying by Global Times on Sunday.
At last year’s edition of National Day parade, China unveiled a new 30-ton Type 15 tank and a 25-ton PCL-181 vehicle-mounter howitzer. Both of these latest Chinese military equipment were spotted in Southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region in January, very close to India’s Ladakh.

“With its advanced fire control systems and 105 millimeter caliber armor-piercing main gun, the Type 15 lightweight tank can outgun any other light armored vehicles at high elevations,” experts claim.
The PCL-181 can fire a variety of armaments including laser-guided projectiles and satellite-guided artillery shells with a maximum range of 50km. It can carry 27 rounds of ammunition and 15 barrels of propellant, according to reports in the Chinese media.
At 25 tons, the PCL-181 is lighter, faster and can endure longer than the previous 40-ton self-propelled howitzer on crawler tracks. It can digitally deploy its gun at the press of a button, with automatic calibration and semi-automatic reloading.
During the October 1 parade, China’s new multiple-rocket launcher system also made its debut. The weapon uses an 8x8 wheeled high-mobility chassis and carries two sets of four 370-millimeter rockets, making it viable for high-altitude deployment.

Bejing showcased Z-20 utility helicopter and modified Z-8G large transport helicopter in the same month.
The Z-20 medium-lift helicopter can adapt to all kinds of terrain and weather and can be used on missions including personnel and cargo transport, search and rescue and reconnaissance. “The Z-20 can operate in oxygen-depleted plateaus thanks to its powerful homemade engine,” Chen Guang, vice general manager of Avicopter, the helicopter branch of state-run AVIC, told the Global Times previously.
Focusing on plateau operations, the Z-8G is the first of its kind in China and can take off from 4,500 meters above sea level with a ceiling higher than 6,000 meters.
“These specially designed weapons have boosted the Chinese military's combat capabilities in high-altitude regions, enabling it to better safeguard national sovereignty and territorial integrity,” Chinese military analysts said, hinting at Sino-Indian border dispute.
The report stated that Chinese border defense troops “bolstered border control measures and made necessary moves in response to India's recent, illegal construction of defense facilities across the border into Chinese territory in the Galwan Valley region.”

Newfound respect for Sardar Masood Khan. So used to seeing our politicians as empty bottles of hot air, this is refreshing.

Summary:

- India under Modi trying to portray itself as a muscular state.
- India is an artificial state. The glue holding it together was secularism. It's real face is saffronized. BJP. RSS.
- Indian nuclear weapons unsafe in the hands of RSS.
- India is historically the expansionist rather than China.
- Banning apps is futile, China's market is global.
- India hoping western companies would relocate to India.
- Quad has no teeth. China invested a trillion dollars in BRI. Quad has put up no money on the table. They all transact with China.
- US has tried to counter China with India since 1945 - Indian never delivered.
- Russia won't mediate. It will sell weapons however.
- US losing influence. Pluralist world order materializing.
- UN impotent. But you can build pressure with persistence.
- Kashmir has now been internationalized, thanks to Modi and Ladakh standoff. Bilateral negotiation is a mirage.
- Demography of IHK is being changed. India was doing this under cover of covid-19, Ladakh standoff undid the cover.
- Kashmiri youth being radicalized due to anger at India. India killing them in fake encounters.
- False flag a possibility.
- Military and diplomatic alignments between China and Pakistan is well-cemented.
- India's military command structure is wobbly, their morale is low.

China has reportedly deployed 40 J-10s, ~10 J-11s, HQ-9 and HQ-16 SAM systems, PCL-181 vehicle mounted howitzers, ZTQ-15 MBTs (possibly) and has a UAV base there as well to strengthen our side of the Border
India deploys AH-64EI Apaches +Su-30MKIs and claim it as a "win", but are on a emergency buying level (lol). and we are to be worried about India? I think they may have confused themselves who is worried about a full blown conflict.

now they are trying to justify buying MQ-9 UAV by saying "Pakistan has China's UAV types" typical response, blame another country when something hits the fan and Modi is worried

And now Nepal is telling Indians to get lost .....

Nepal cable TV operators stop airing Indian news channels

KATHMANDU, Nepal — Nepal’s cable and satellite television providers have stopped airing Indian news channels, with one operator saying Friday that the move was in response to public complaints over coverage of Nepal's prime minister.
Sudeep Acharya, managing director of satellite television provider Dish Home, said they stopped airing the Indian news channels Thursday night after they were flooded with complaints about news reports about Prime Minister Khadga Prasad Oli.
Acharya said there was no government order to stop airing the channels, adding that the decision was made after discussions between cable and satellite television providers. It was not decided for how long they planned to stop airing the channels.
Some of the Indian media reports have suggested Oli is a puppet of the Chinese government. One recent report on Indian channel Zee news suggested Oli had close ties with the Chinese ambassador to Nepal, who has been meeting several leaders of Oli's Nepal Communist Party.
Nepal's government has condemned the reports.
“The government condemns any media content that assassinates the character of any person, spreads hatred and disregards the respect and honour of the individual concerned," Nepal's Information Minister Yuba Raj Khatiwad said Thursday.
Oli has been a target of both Indian leadership and media since his government brought out a new map of the country that includes territories claimed by both India and Nepal. The new map has strained relations between two South Asian nations with exchanges of strong statements.
Kathmandu’s relations with New Delhi worsened after Oli said last week in an internal party meeting that India was attempting to oust him from office with help from some of the members of his own party.
India had been a dominant force in Nepal until recently, when China’s involvement began to grow. Besides China’s investment in the building of airports, highways and hydro-power projects in Nepal, Chinese diplomats have worked to increase ties with Nepali political leaders.

it tends to seem, that India will over-exaggerate on their casualty rates as well the enemies, to always make themselves sound like a victor. I've heard 3 different stories from Indian media since the incident including India suffered 100+ casualties, one saying the skirmish was fake and one saying Modi done this to win cheap political points.

How inclined are you, to believe that "Modi did this to win cheap political points." ?

I can't say I'm "100%" sure this was the case, but at the same time I've heard so much about his political party and his views, that I wouldn't be completely surprised if he had done this. we all know how propaganda works he could of been saying " India only lost 20 soldiers, China lost 1,000 soldiers, we won and couldn't of done that without my strategizing"
