Shit....How did ISIS manage to reach India? Thats an alarming sign for India to be involved in removing the dictator currently butchering his people in Syria.

CIA leads help Indian agencies bust ISIS cells - Times of India

According to the report, the collaboration between the Intelligence Bureau (IB) of India and the CIA has led to the Indian authorities cracking down on ISIS cells in a pan-Indian crackdown. This came just after the arrest of four people from Haridwar who were on their way to join the IS forces in Syria.

It could be Pakistan planning a terror attack inside India just like the 2008 Mumbai attack.

Naah! Pakistan is plagued with its own issues. Its not right to blame everything on them. People are being radicalized because of offline content that is filled with propaganda. Thankfully, there is a deradicalization process in place which will help these misguide souls return to normalcy. Alas they will stay under surveillance for the rest of their lives.

My husband had been saying all along that countries in danger of ISIS (like the Philippines) should seek the help of the CIA. Like the recent suspicion that ISIS is trying to establish a base in th southern Philippines, a good intelligence would confirm or deny that. And only the CIA is properly equipped in that category. It is good to note that India is successful in that area, hoping that ISIS will be thwarted in its campaign.

Yeah countries like the Philippines and Malaysia should collaborate and share intelligence so that not even a single person gets radicalized.

This is hardly surprising. If ISIS managed to establish a network in Jakarta, then having one in India comes as no surprise. The country has a significant Muslim population and certain fanatics could well be blending with these people, undetected. Logistically speaking, it's far more convenient to establish a terrorist network in India given its proximity.

The only way to stop the spread of ISIS's ideology is by countering it with something that's just as effective but better. Muslims need to unite against ISIS and other terror groups and use the same channels ISIS has used to reach impressionable young people and hopefully stop them from joining terror organizations.

Fortunately, Muslims in India generally have an unfavourable attitude towards the whole 'One Caliphate to Rule Them All'. ideals of the ISIS. On one hand, this is mostly due to ideological differences, but on the other, this is because the Sunnis and the Shias in India live in relative harmony and don't support the sect vs sect conflict that the ISIS thrives on in the middle east. But, on the flip side, this is not the case in most Muslim-majority nations, where the conflict between the different sects of Islam is a real and palpable problem, and thus young, often very inexperienced and idealistic people are tempted to join militant groups like ISIS, at least they believe, is fighting for their 'cause'.

I suppose then unlike other countries where the Muslims community may turn a blind eye to radicalization, in India anyone trying to propagate jihadist views would be turned in. However I presume India might still not be entirely safe [from ISIS] because terrorists could still creep in from Pakistan . . .
