Drug Smuggling

Why hasn't drug smuggling been reduced? Where do all the billions of taxpayers' money go that should be spent on eradicating them? What's happening to the government CIA, FBI, DEA agents, government informants, and prosecutors?!

Drugging of the American people is a crime, Big Pharmas and FDA.

Spending the money on such crime won't solve it. As long as there is no strong penalty for drug smuggling to deter the smugglers, people will suffer much more.

When smuggling is mentioned, the first thing that comes to my mind is the Customs and tariff office. I have no proof nor evidence of corruption but the media has been exposing the corruption inside the Customs bureau. Can you imagine a messenger owning a good sized house and lot and with 3 vehicles at that? When asked about those assets, he said that they are gifts from his sister who is abroad. That's just one example.

Maybe the government is going about things the wrong way. Instead of concentrating on the dealers, it might be beneficial to try and eradicate the societal problems which lead people to misuse drugs in the first place.
