The Caesar would be the right pick. How many of them is Egypt willing to buy?

Compared to this?

Ceaser for you refernce:

UAE operates 78units, Oman 24units, of the G6 Rhino. KSA (SANG) should have picked up 100units, this way GCC could have had the production facility as well.

How exactly is that comparable to the Ceaser in terms of spec?
Both have the same gun 155mm, but in terms of Armour, the G6 is unparalleled. In terms of wheeled Howitzers, it is the most armored big gun out there. The crew operates from the safety of the vehicle, instead of outside, where it is vulnerable, as can be seen by the pics I posted in my previous post.

It's shoot, and scoot capability cannot be matched by Ceaser as well. A high degree of automation means only 3 crew memebers are required to operate it. unlike the Ceaser, that requires typically 5.

The G6 holds 45 rounds ready to fire. The Ceaser 18 rounds.

The operational range of the G6 on a full tank, is 700kms, the Ceaser 600kms.

Ceaser is just a howitzer mounted on a truck, whereas the G6 Rhino, is literally a tank on wheels. It's crew operates in an enclosed NBC cabin, and does not need to expose it self.

Another advantage with the G6 being non-western is that you can use it where you want. No strings attached.

It played a critical role in supporting the LeClerc's in freeing Aden as well, and has really proven itself in Yemen as well. The Saudis are quite impressed with it's capabilities, that actually mimic it's namesake - the Rhino.

In other words, G6 = M109 on wheels.

Good stuff, Egypt has made a strong turn in diversifying arms supplies. Can you shed some light on the armaments accompanying the Rafael?
our Rafales use MICA-EM/IR AAM, Magic 2 AAM, Storm Shadow Air to Surface missiles, AASM-Hammer PGM, and GBU models.

is Egypt still planning on acquiring the JF-17 or is it looking at better options?
Egypt is expanding stronger defence cooperation with Pakistan, in which JF-17 was looked at, not because we really need the jet but because PAC/CAC has offered local production and we have expertise in producing planes since we assembled K-8s here in Egypt. though we are looking at SU-35s currently for a stronger strike fighter for the EAF.

an outlook of an Su-35 in EAF colours. Egypt is currently eyeing a potential purchase of 24 Su-35s from Russia to gain a deep-strike combat jet
