We would be in India, living in fear as Muslims from a tyrannous government and its institutions designed to keep us terrorized and distant from any signs of prosperity. We would be in constant fear for our family and friends. Somewhere in the back of our mind would be a repressed old idea of living in our own homeland. Think about how impossible that dream truly would be right now.

We are all acutely aware of the sacrifices our grandfather's generation made to realize the dream of our own homeland. It is a wondrous gift by Allah through our ancestors bearing immense fighting spirits.

Let us honor their sacrifices by doing what we can for our country in small ways and big in our everyday lives.

now a days it requires blood of tyrants more than blood of patriots.
i wish we have some kind of death squad for these tyrants, who killed them when and how should be unknown. the only thing known should be that they were tyrants and sellouts of motherland.

Video: Dubai's Burj Khalifa, Adnoc building dazzle with Pakistan flag display to mark Independence Day




Dubai's Burj Khalifa lit up with the colours of the Pakistan flag tonight to mark the country's 74th Independence Day. The special event was confirmed by the Pakistan consulate to Khaleej Times earlier on Friday.

The display of the Pakistani flag on the tallest and most famous skyscraper took place at 8:45pm highlighting the strong friendly relations the UAE and Pakistan share.



Another iconic building in UAE lit up with the colours of Pakistan's flag on Friday night.

ADNOC's building in Abu Dhabi lit up with the colours of the Republic of Pakistan flag in celebration of its Independence Day.


Earlier on Friday, the President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a congratulatory message to President Arif Alvi of Pakistan on the occasion of his country's Independence Day, which is marked on August 14.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, also sent similar messages to President Alvi, as well as to Imran Khan, Prime Minister of Pakistan, on the occasion.
