The U.S. has been working on this for a while...
At this point, LACM's can take something like 40 mins to travel 1000 kms. (Please do correct me if the numbers are a bit off here.)
If they were traveling at Mach 5 speeds they would take something like 6 mins to make the same 1ooo kms.
LACM's are still a pretty relevant piece of warfare, right?
Do you know of any recent developments in this technology?
