That was such a nice piece of machinery. In the battlefield, that could cause some serious damage and make the enemy cringe with fear.

Oh it is a scary sniper rifle, when in the open or on recon you knew in the back of your mind that you might have some crosshairs on you from further away than you could see in many cases. Deadly and accurate, an assassin's weapon with a huge psychological impact but...

The problem with using this weapon is that once you fire you are 100% in a defensive position after that. You go from being the hunter to being the hunted because you are suddenly a top priority target. That's why a sniper using this type of weapon was usually part of a small team. Getting in and getting the kill is one thing, extracting yourself from the middle of town in broad daylight is something else.

This is a Finnish model based on the AK47, the Valmet M76, the Qataris also used to have it once upon a time.
