Israel must be wiped out - such words in Hebrew were emblazoned on 2 ballistic missiles launched by Iran for testing. The shiite nation is showing its military might in reaction to the visit of US vice president Joe Biden to Jerusalem. After scaling back its nucleare program as agreed upon with the world powers, Iran is demonstrating that it will go ahead with its ballistic programs.

US vice president visited Israel to discuss the next military aid package(10 year) the US Congress will sign soon. Iran is testing missiles that are already in it's past arsenal. There is no new technology in them that I'm aware of. It could be related to threats of reinstalling sanctions by US presidential candidates or threats of scrapping the deal. Or related to multi-nation exercises taking place not far in Saudi Arabia. Which some analysts have speculated may relate to the Syrian arena, which Iran is heavily invested in.

during the latest IRGC missile wargame codenamed "Eqtedar-e-Velayat", a variety of Iranian ballistic missiles with the ranges of 300km, 500km, 800km, and 2000km were launched from different regions of the country.

Just another day in the life of the Middle East. Iran is just seeking some attention, and this coincides with its muscle flexing activities, culminating from it's competing against Saudia Arabia for domination of the Arab Community. It's hardly likely that Iran will directly attack Israel because it will not be able to match Israel's capabilities, however, it will covertly support terrorist attacks against them.

Appear's to be Seijil-class ballistic missile at the top, the rest look like cruise missiles?

That's also what I think - that Iran is just trying to get world attention. My impression is that Iran is scared of Israel but is trying hard not to show it. And poor Iran because it is also at odds with Saudi Arabia so it is like being alone in the fight. I notice that muscle-flexing is a trending topic now - China is doing that time and again, North Korea as well and lately Japan had shown their military equipment. I wonder when the Philippines will showcase it's mighty military power.

Iran is a regional power. But, I have never understood their beef with Israelis. I mean Persians hate Israel. Arabs hate Israel. And here is the thing, Israel is a small country that does not want to attack anyone, but they're just surrounded by enemies on all sides.

I am also amazed at the number of Israel entrepreneurs I meet. I recently even interacted with a guy who was trying to make things better between Israel and Palestine by setting up his businesses not just in Jerusalem but also in Palestinian territories. Sure there are lunatics and "right wingers" in Israel too, but most people would just like to be left alone.

Sure, they're really wrong everytime they massacre Palestinians, but I have never heard of Israel going into the territory unprovoked.

If that was the case then why don't Israel withdraw from all occupied territories and stop the illegal settlements and go back to the 76 boundaries agreement?
