I still believe... that there is US-Persian muk muka... there is deepstate level linkage between the two... remember that the Shah was preffered by the Yanks... and Persia was biggest supporter of Israel during Shah's time...

With the Chinese setting up shop in Persia and the US going back to its colours... we might find all ourselves under the bus yet again...

The question that arrises: Is Pak and GCC being played yet again?
its not going to happen that quickly and easily. Trump is desperately looking for something to show for next year election. North Korea talks failed, talks with taliban are on a halt, and now Iran. Even he could not get started with the wall on Mexico border.

Only golden egg for him is to get a deal signed with Taliban.

U.S. to monitor Iranian oil shipments, will eye Chinese purchases: official

Chinese oil companies such as Sinopec [SASADZ.UL], CNOOC Ltd and others have managed to reduce their shipments of Iranian oil but it is unclear which Chinese government parties might still be buying Iranian oil, a senior U.S. energy official said on Tuesday.

Dan Brouillette, deputy secretary of the U.S. Department of Energy, told Reuters in an interview that Iranian oil shipments will be monitored and Washington will consider “designating” or blacklisting any identified party who violates the sanctions.

The United States reimposed sanctions on OPEC member Iran last year after pulling out of a 2015 nuclear accord between Tehran and six world powers. In a bid to cut Iran’s sales to zero, Washington in May ended sanctions waivers for importers of Iranian oil.

“We are going to continue this ‘maximum pressure campaign’ because we want Iran to change,” Brouillette said.

“If folks were identified, the Treasury is going to designate them. There are some questions about who (in China) is actually doing the buying ... whether it is the Chinese government that is doing the buying,” he said during a visit to Abu Dhabi.

“Sinopec and CNOOC, their shipments have come way down.”

Chinese buyers are wary of taking crude oil from Venezuela and Iran due to escalating sanctions slapped on the two countries by the United States.

But amid growing trade tension with Washington, Beijing in late August imposed 5% tariffs on U.S. crude imports for the first time, from Sept. 1.

The United States is also pressing ahead with raising its oil output, even if that may complicate life for the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries as the group struggles to support oil prices by slashing its crude supply, Brouillette said.
“We are going to promote policies that are going to promote production of energy all throughout the U.S.,” Brouillette said, adding that any potential impact on OPEC or on oil prices is of “no concern.”

The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) projected U.S. oil production would rise to 12.27 million bpd in 2019 from a record 10.99 million bpd in 2018.

Production increases in the Permian Basin and Bakken Shale have been at the forefront of a shale boom that helped make the United States the biggest oil producer in the world, ahead of Saudi Arabia and Russia.

OPEC and its non-OPEC allies, led by Russia, agreed in December to reduce supply by 1.2 million bpd from Jan. 1 this year and the pact will continue until March 2020.

The OPEC+ joint ministerial monitoring committee (JMMC), which includes major oil producers such as Saudi Arabia and Russia, and which reports on compliance with the cuts, is due to meet on Thursday in Abu Dhabi.

But weak crude prices, which have fallen from a 2019 high above $75 a barrel in April to around $63 now, may pressure OPEC+ nations to cut even deeper amid concerns about slowing oil demand and economic growth, analysts say.

SAUDI NUCLEAR POWER PLANS
Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman said on Monday that the kingdom wants to enrich uranium for its nuclear power program, potentially complicating talks with Washington on an atomic pact and the role of U.S. companies.

Riyadh plans to issue a multibillion-dollar tender in 2020 to construct its first two nuclear power reactors and has held preliminary talks with firms from the United States, Russia, South Korea, China and France for the project.

In order for U.S. companies to compete for Saudi Arabia’s project, Riyadh would normally need to sign an accord on the peaceful use of nuclear technology with Washington, known as a 123 agreement.

Brouillette said that even if Riyadh were to sign a deal with South Korean companies it would still need to sign that 123 agreement and possibly also the International Atomic Energy Agency’s Additional Protocol on extra safeguards for verifying nuclear technology is used for peaceful applications.

The kingdom has so far resisted signing both pacts.

“In our view at least it is partially an American technology that they (South Korea) will be selling. We made it very clear that we will not allow that transmission of technology to occur without an appropriate U.S. involvement and approval,” Brouillette said.

US accuses Iran of ‘possible undeclared nuclear activities’

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Tuesday accused Iran of “possible undeclared nuclear activities,” as the UN’s nuclear watchdog presses Tehran for answers on its atomic safeguards.

“The Iranian regime’s lack of full cooperation with @iaeaorg raises questions about possible undeclared nuclear material or activities,” Pompeo tweeted.

The Iranian regime’s lack of full cooperation with @iaeaorg raises questions about possible undeclared nuclear material or activities. This fits into Iran’s 40-year pattern of lies. The world won’t fall for it. We will deny the regime all paths to a nuclear weapon.
— Secretary Pompeo (@SecPompeo) September 10, 2019

“The world won’t fall for it. We will deny the regime all paths to a nuclear weapon.”

Pompeo’s warning came a day after the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) urged Iran to respond quickly to its concerns, as the troubled 2015 deal with world powers over Tehran’s nuclear program threatens to fall apart.

Iran IRGC_AS chief Gen. Hajizadeh: 2000KM anti-ship ballistic missile

Iran Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, the commander of the IRGC's Aerospace: US military vessels are within reach of our anti-ship ballistic missiles ( ASBM ) up to a radius of 2,000 kilometers, readiness of the forces to respond after shot down U.S MQ-4 drone in case of any U.S military retaliation

“In addition to US bases in the region, we have all their vessels, including aircraft carriers and warships, under fire of our missiles to a radius of 2,000 kilometers, and are constantly monitoring them,” the Iranian commander said.
He added, "They (Americans) thought that they could get out of our range of [missile] fire if they stand 400 kilometers away [from Iran's territorial waters]. However, no matter where they are, if a conflict is ignited, their warships will be first to be targeted by our fire."

That Iranians seem to be provoking everyone around them despite not having nuclear weapons. I wonder how they will act once they get nukes.

My dear Pak,

Perhaps the Persians have already devices.... be it dirty bombs.... and complete devices... otherwise, after shooting YankDrones time after time...and nothing happending in result is instructive.

With multiple types of delivery systems... Persian are in very solid position... so yeah... they have 'acquired' the capabilities it seems...

So... does this means Iranians have got licence to spread anarchy in the region (excluding India)?
Iran is lucky that regional states are not taking action against him.

My dear Pak,

Have a look at the landscape... from Med to ArabianSea... what do you see? In an ocean of chaos and destruction only Persia is safe...

KSA is under attack. UAE had been hit by drones... Iraq is dead. Syria is dead. Pakistan is always under the knife... Afghanistan... need I remind you how Persia and US worked hands in glove to destroy Taliban... and of course, Afghani Hizbollah is there already... so is Daesh... with that Baghdadi in Afg... one wonders which route he took??

Now KSA is hit with a CM of Persian origin/made from Iraq...that means now KSA is going to be attacked from Yemen and Iraq...

Is it just a conincedence that a couple days ago a young Saudi princes tweets about KSA being able to destroy Persia and then... clockwork...within days half of Saudi oil production gets paralysed...

You know better than I how the messages are conveyed in ME....

PMIK needs to commit to KSA on security.... enough of this neutrality drama... we need to make a choice...and yes we need to embrace for terrorism in Our Land if we support KSA... but time to prove which side we stand.

Isn't it funny that the mighty Yanks do NOTHING to Persia even after making all that fuss about tankers being hit and then super drone shotdown by the Persian...

I do believe that troops in Qatar are for us and not for Persia... because... should such a thing happend Persia will join in to make sure that we are no more.

DarkGames they play.

I guess we are stupid! Sorry for harsh words.. but this is how it is.

IRGC is a declared terrorist organization. In given situation, there's no need for any conspiracy to take military action to dismantle it.
While debris recovered at Abqaiq refinery confirms, Iran was involved.
With IRGC presence in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria and Yemen, they do owe explanation in regard to the various missiles fired by houthi terrorists in past and now this as well.

Iran can attack enemies anywhere, destroy Israel: IRGC commander
Monday, 30 September 2019

“Today, we can attack the enemy with any intensity and precision and in any area,” warned Hossein Salami. (File photo: AFP)

Iran is capable of attacking its enemies anywhere, said the commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Hossein Salami on Monday, adding that Israel’s destruction is an “achievable goal,” the semi-official Fars news agency reported.

“Today, we can attack the enemy with any intensity and precision and in any area,” warned Salami.

“In the first phase of the Islamic Revolution, we created the capacity to destroy the illegitimate Zionist regime, but in the second phase, we must remove this regime from the world’s geography … this is no longer a dream and is an achievable goal,” he added.

On the 40th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, the official website of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei published a document entitled “The Second Phase of the Revolution Statement” in February 2019. The document offered a set of guidelines about the state of affairs in the future as envisaged by Khamenei.

In the document, Khamenei gave “advice” on various matters, such as foreign policy, the economy and lifestyle.

Salami has previously made threats against Iran’s “enemies,” warning that any country which attacked Iran would become a “battlefield.”
