Is the the Ukrainian military strong enough to defend against Russia?

With increased hostility in eastern Europe what could you see occurring between Russia and Ukraine? Do you think that Ukraine will be able to effectively defend?

Ukraine is considerably weaker than the mighty Russians. Don't even gt me stared about the nuclear weapons. Ukraine doesn't have any while Russians enjoy a large amount of those weapons. Even Chinese, who are economically much better than Russia, re yet to find military parity between Russia and China. They are far from it.

Ukraine has no chance against Russia. They are so much weaker.

On it's own? Definitely not. Russia has one of the biggest and most advanced militaries in the world, and Ukraine is no where near they're level. However, seeing how Russia is pretty alone in this battle, if Ukraine were to get outside help, then it would be a lot tougher for Russia. But whether any outside country is willing to get physically involved in this conflict is a whole other matter.

Putin is so much obsessed with power that he will not loosen his grip on Ukraine, even if it means bringing the world to war once again. Recent developments show that West has already been planning to sell Ukraine to Russia. The only question is, when will they do it?
