I read something else very interesting about them the other day too. I will see if I can find the article. It was probably on MSNBC, but there has been lots of coverage about how much money ISIL has and how they are getting funding. A lot of it is illegal oil trade across borders; however, they are spending that money very fast. There is some speculation on whether their large fortune will continue to fund them for the long haul or whether they will be forced to fade.

I have heard those reports too. I read that the hacker group Anonymous has been attacking their sites and such to try and financially break them. Obviously it is not doing much damage to them as they are raking in millions. They are gaining their finances through various means both on and off the internet. If we can find a way to permanently block them financially then the threat from them would not be so bad. It would not completely eliminate the threat but it will lessen their chances of getting artillery to fight with.
