Israeli media has been publishing propaganda as of late, of it's intention to carry out an assault on Gaza. If you follow Ynetnews, Jpost, or Times of Israel, you can see all outlets publish similar threats on the same day. Today for example, each media outlet reported on the 'need' to attack Gaza Strip soon:

No hope for Gazans - Israel Opinion, Ynetnews
Rash of Gaza suicides points to rising poverty, despair | The Times of Israel

Suicide wave hits Gaza Strip in light of citizens' gloomy day-to-day life - Arab-Israeli Conflict - Jerusalem Post

......

These articles have the purpose of preparing the Israeli and international public for the prospect of an assault on the Gaza Strip in the summer of 2016. Threatening to make it 'more aggressive than ever'. The Palestinian death toll in the last assault was 2,300 casualties in total. If we take Israel's threats seriously, it could surpass 3,000 this summer in a month of bombardment.

I advise you to ignore the content of these articles which frame false narratives and misinform the public deliberately in order to justify their war efforts. They may have intention to reoccupy the Gaza Strip or just want to kill more Palestinians to demonstrate their military might.

I will decipher the following article just to give you sense of some of the propaganda, and I explained the purpose of this propaganda above. If you have any other questions regarding this please create an account on this forum and feel free to ask me.

I took the most important paragraphs written in this report and will debunk them.

Here we go:

Just like every year, the IDF is getting ready for another violent round in Gaza this summer. The IDF Chief of Staff has created a deadline for the IDF to be prepared, focusing on equipment updates and training. No one knows the timing or what will be the direct cause of the next flare up, but it is clear that this near-yearly ritual illustrates the inescapable reality. Yet, this is not only the Israeli mindset.

Wrong, this 'reality' is easily inescapable. If Israel would commit to resolving the humanitarian crisis in Gaza Strip and West Bank, there wouldn't be need for any fighting. Remember Israel besieges Gaza, controls it's airspace, sea and 7 of it's 8 borders. More information on this is present here:

The real goal of Israel's Gaza blockade | The Electronic Intifada
....

Israel seeks to besiege the Strip for the same reason it occupies the West Bank. To make life miserable for the Palestinians to the point where they contemplate leaving for good. So it can replace the local population with eastern European/American Jews. In the last Israeli assault in 2014, Israel was required to negotiate easing or removing the blockade as a condition of the truce. It refused to do so. US and Europe have proposed building a port on Gaza to open it up to the world:

U.S. Suggests Port in Gaza, Inspections in Cyprus - Latest News Briefs - Arutz Sheva

Europe offers to establish Gaza-Cyprus sea route - Israel News, Ynetnews

Israel rejected both proposals. And now it is announcing to the world the timeline of the next assault will begin in the summer and that the Israeli military has already planned it all out. This shows Israel's cynical urge to kill more Palestinians, subjugate them to misery and show that it is against any compromise or peaceful solution.

The residents of Gaza who have left the Strip and spoken to Israelis reveal that this fatalistic mindset is also on the other side. In their opinion, a military confrontation is a certainty. They also believe that it will be a lot more aggressive, that Israel is sick of playing these games with Hamas, and that Israel will do everything to eliminate the organization.

Very easily, we can notice these 'residents of Gaza' are made up characters. No resident of Gaza blames Hamas for the situation. Nor do they frame the assaults on Gaza as 'games with Hamas'. These assaults are calculated and well planned, to cause enormous amounts of psychological/material damage to the Palestinian people to send a message that Israel will do everything in its power to make their lives miserable but stop short of directly ethnically cleansing them since the international community wouldn't stand idle by that.

Israel is threatening to go farther, as in take parts of the land once again and bring foreign Jews to colonize it in the form of 'settlements'. Like they did in the past.

Meanwhile, Hamas is planning to surprise Israel with its firepower, and will hit Israel's civilian population in order to break both the status-quo and the blockade. When the two populations are convinced that a flare up will happen, the leadership will not fail to disappoint.

Here we see a blatant lie. Hamas isn't planning anything, but to defend the Strip and deter Israel from targeting the strip. Israel wants to attack before Hamas is able to surpass that deterrence level like Hezbollah did in Lebanon. In other words, Israel wants to prevent Hamas from being strong enough to the point where Israel can't be adventurous and attack every year or two. We can see this in Lebanon, Hezbollah is strong enough, and Lebanon hasn't been attacked for 9 years. Right now Hamas is still too weak and hasn't reached that level. So Israel wants to attack before that point is reached.

We heard in the last assault in 2014 that Hamas was planning to hit civilian communities with its fighters coming out of tunnels. This turned out to be completely false, Hamas tunnel attacks were all used to target military installations. As we can clearly see in the following links, of course Israel tried to spin this off and claim it is because they couldn't reach civilian areas, which is nonsense.

Hamas tunnel raid kills 5 soldiers in southern Israel | The Times of Israel

Israeli soldier 'captured in tunnel attack' by Gaza militants | Middle East | News | The Independent

2 Israeli Soldiers Killed By Palestinian Militants In Tunnel Attack

The only culprit here who is planning to 'surprise' and devastate civilian communities is Israel. Israel will launch an unexpected attack. Or it will provoke the Gazan's into fighting by firing near its borders on daily basis for weeks trying to get response out of the Palestinians.

The Palestinian Authority, which is responsible for transfering aid money to the Strip, is not transfering funds for health or education in an organized fashion. In Gaza, there is no proper psychological treatment. There is a rise in the number of children born with deformities – deformities linked with incestual marriages. Due to the current world wide refugee crisis, UNWRA is receiving less money, and fewer families are able to keep their heads above water.

This is false, the PA is not responsible for the exports/imports or funding of the Strip. The Strip can receive funding, however the United States threatened to create lawsuits if these banks allow transfers of money. And has threatened to cut off aid to the PA if the PA sends funds to Gaza. Israel is responsible for the wellbeing of the Strip since it controls what goes in our out of the territory.

It is true that the humanitarian situation is not good.

On top of all of this is the constant fear of Israeli airstrikes. For the Gazans, there is no sanctuary - they have nowhere to run, and they have no influence over events. They are mad that Hamas has built for themselves what amount to underground cities, while they are left without bomb shelters.

Once again our imaginary 'Gazan' characters are cited by Israeli media in order to prepare international public for it's discreet targeting of civilians or the upcoming massacre of civilians it will commit in the coming summer. So it tries blaming this on Hamas for there being no shelters.

There are several things wrong with this:
1.) Shelters won't protect you 2,000 to 10,000 pound bombs being fired at high velocities by F-16 fighters jets. On contrary, Israel can blow the shelters and destroy whole apartment complexes.
2.) There are no underground cities in Gaza. And Hamas is not underground. There are fighters in very narrow and short tunnels to combat the Israeli ground invasion and be able to move around to fire back at Israel
3.) UN has created shelters for the people in the past assault in 2014. It have the coordinates to Israel 17 times. Yet Israel still bombed it and murdered dozens of Palestinians including some UN employees:

'World Stands Disgraced' as Israel Bombs Another UN-Designated Shelter in Gaza | Common Dreams | Breaking News & Views for the Progressive Community

No hope for Gazans - Israel Opinion, Ynetnews

This is my input on this propaganda, please feel free to share this on any forum. We need to raise awareness for the upcoming tragedy that will take place.

It is unfortunate that the Israeli media, members of the Fourth Estate, should join the sabre rattling political class instead of pointing at its excesses and injustices. This ignores that there is a precedent which has been set. Every time there is an invasion, more families have members killed resulting in radicalization. As witnessed during Operation Cast Lead, it is the blameless who suffer most. War crimes have been committed. It appears that might is right judging from the loud silence of the ICC and the international community.

Those Israelis that use the Hamas as an excuse to violate every international laws ? As we say in 2014,not even UN facilities are spared.....
No wonder Gaza is such in a pity state suffering a total blockade from the air,the land and the sea by the Israelis, which result Gazans to turn (in sign of despair and no hope) to radical groups.
I'll point out that the Gaza's western neighbor isn't that different...

Military Intelligence chief: Deterioration in Gaza endangers Israel

Herzl Halevi says conditions in Gaza may cause an explosion of violence against Israel, while Hamas warns that such an explosion is inevitable unless exit route is created.

Hamas members warned on Wednesday that a change in the situation in Gaza is inevitable in the shape of either an explosion of violence or the opening of a new exit route, while Israel's head of Military Intelligence warned that deteriorating conditions in Gaza endanger Israel's security.

At a closed meeting with the members of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, Military Intelligence Chief Herzl Halevi said that "the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip is deteriorating, and if it explodes, it will explode on Israel."

Hamas, for its part, said a seaport is a legitimate Palestinian right, said Hamas. Building a seaport in Gaza is also a Turkish condition in ongoing negotiations to rehabilitate its relationship with Israel, which collapsed following the Marmara raid in 2010. The Turks have made it clear that reconciliation would have to involve free access to the Gaza Strip in order to provide aid to the Palestinians.

Halevi also stated that "the Palestinians are doing everything they can in order to press Israel unilaterally and internationally – through the UN Security Council and the French initiative – to impose a political solution upon Israel."

In the first report, General Halevi stated before the committee that he agrees with the UN assessment that the Gaza Strip will be uninhabitable by 2020 if the humanitarian situation doesn't improve. He warned that the rehabilitation of the strip is going too slowly, and that one of the most important causes of the dire situation there.

However, Halevi highlighted that Hamas isn't interested in a war with Israel at this time – in fact, the situation is the opposite. He argued that Hamas is working to restrain the other groups in Gaza, and noted that the group has prevented other groups from firing rockets, even after incidents on the border fence where Palestinians get killed.

Knesset Member Merav Michaeli, who is a member of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, said in response to General Halevi's statements that "the Head of Military Intelligence basically said the same thing that we have been hearing from all of the security chiefs for years – without a political solution, the danger of terror increases. This isn't a political opinion; it is a professional stance which is based on reality. The fact that Netanyahu and his ministers don’t like the reality doesn't give him the authority to lash out at the heads of the IDF and the security establishment."

Knesset Member Issawi Frej (Meretz) said that "the Head of Military Intelligence has is trying to pull the heads of the cabinet members out of the sand. They are hiding like ostriches in order to keep from dealing with the truth. His starting statement was that Palestinian youths are committing terror attacks because they have nothing left to lose, and stated that without a political process, the scope of terror will widen."

MK Frej continued, "When he spoke of the dangerous consequences of the poverty in Gaza, Halevi was one of the only people who spoke the truth. Instead of ignoring or shooting the messenger, it is worth it for the Prime Minister and his cabinet to internalize that the truth won't change if they ignore the facts. As long as Israel continues to refuse dialogue and continues to make Gazan lives difficult, the violence directed at Israel will only increase."

Hopefully this intelligence chief has influence and can persuade the Israeli government to commit to a political solution. There are reports that negotiations are happening between US, Turkey, Hamas and Israel regarding the siege and the construction of a seaport. If it good news comes out of that, there will be long period of calm which will benefit all of us.
