Israeli forces attempt incursion into Gaza, sirens heard in southern Israel

Israeli special forces, around 20 at night time attempted incursion into southern Gaza city 'Rafah', but was caught during process by Palestinian fighters and retreated.

However, today Israeli sources are reporting rockets were fired out of Gaza. Around 2 or 3, hit open field and cuased no damage or injuries. Palestinians didn't report seeing any fire out of Gaza.

Israeli mayor of 'Eshkol' council has called on Netanyahu to hit at Gaza with force, raising fears this will lead to escalation.

Palestinian security forces inside Gaza have been ordered to evacuate all police buildings in fear of air strikes to hit likely soon.

I'm confusing artillery and mortars. I believe they fired 107mm rocket in return. But some say that never happened. It's largely quiet right now. But Israeli army claims they hit sensitive site for Hamas's armed wing which is odd given that they stated its not Hamas behind fire.

So in reality there may have never been any fire but Israel up to something. Or it is isolated incident and life will go on normally.
