Germany's Federal Security Council has approved the sale of 11 Fuchs armoured vehicles for nuclear, biological, and chemical (NBC) reconnaissance purposes to Kuwait, according to an official document circulated by the German media on 4 February.
The document said the Federal Security Council had also approved the sale of 240 radios to Algeria and four GLADIO firearms simulators to Saudi Arabia.
It also extended a 2012 decision to approve the sale of radars, optronics, software, and technology to Saudi Arabia for a security system that covers 6,125 km of the state's land and sea border.
Saudi Arabia announced in September 2014 the completion of the first phase of a security barrier running along 900 km of its northern borders with Iraq and Syria.
