According to Kuwaiti officials, there is a legislation that will make DNA tagging mandatory and it will take effect later this year. After that each and every person entering the country will undergo a mandatory DNA sampling. This will be done by taking samples of saliva or blood (by person’s choice). Obviously that measure is to keep track of people and maybe the migrants in particular.

That sounds like a really good idea. Saliva or blood, so people can't just say no to it because it's not really hard to give saliva. Anyone who would think this isn't a good idea would look suspicious, better to weed out the ones who would likely cause trouble and scare the ones that do.

If Kuwait ever had a tourist industry fuelled by westerners, it'll be gone soon after this is in place!
