The security situation in Europe significantly deteriorated in the context of the war in Ukraine.
Obviously, the current presence of NATO Enhanced Forward Presence battle groups in the Baltic states and Poland is not efficient to deter Russian aggression from the East. Moreover, it makes the authorities of Baltic states take more drastic measures aimed at receiving security guarantees from the Alliance.
