A NIMR armored vehicle fires a rocket equipped with the TALON® guidance system in this artist's illustration. Raytheon is working to integrate the weapon onto the NIMR, with support from NIMR Automotive, one of the company's many international partners.

The TALON laser-guided rocket was co-developed with the United Arab Emirates.

The new HAFEET ADV proposed by the two companies features the MBDA MPCS (Multi Purpose Combat System including a turret, sensors, IFF, Mistral missiles, command & firing posts and shelter equipment) that will be installed on NIMR’s latest HAFEET 640A all-terrain light armored vehicle platform.

The combination of the MPCS equipped with MBDA’s latest generation Mistral missiles and of the NIMR vehicle will provide mobile air defense capability allowing protection of convoys, armored brigades in their maneuvers as well as any land infrastructure or assets.

The two companies have completed preliminary engineering studies and are in the stage of integrating the full system if ordered. Most of the HAFEET ADV components already exist and are modular.


The MPCS turret is in service across several forces in the world and comprises a gyro-stabilized day/thermal sensor suite with integrated laser rangefinder. With four ready-to-fire, fire and forget, IR Mistral missiles, the HAFEET ADV enables the interception of a large spectrum of threats (high maneuvering fighters, combat helicopters, UAV, UCAV, cruise missiles) at ranges exceeding 6kmand altitudes up to 5,000 m.

Pakistan Ministry of Defense to soon sign a deal with US Department of State for a FMS of 40 MaxxPro MRAP (Mine Resistant Ambush Protected) Dash DXM vehicles.

The MaxxPro Dash DXM has improved DXM suspension, EFP (explosively formed penetrator) protection, Frag kit 6 US protection against EFPs and IEDs.
It has a V-shaped hull to deflect blasts and enhanced ballistic protection.
It also has a remote weapon station (allowing offensive capabilities without putting occupants in danger) as well as NBC (nuclear/biological/chemical protection. The MaxxPro Dash DXM MRAP Vehicle is being bought from the US Military’s surplus stock from Afghanistan.

Why isnt pakistan buying the multiple turkish or chinese options and moving the factory to taxila? Pakistan needs around 6-7000 of these for all branches. This must be a joke and its not a very good one either.

The BMWs and mercs should be confiscated from these generals and told they need to travel in 2007 toyota pickups.
