naah, my dad wouldn't have had a say in procurement back then, but he did play a part in shaping the PAF's early integrated C2 and C3 (the IT...), which they must have replaced I'm sure.

Did he spend anytime @ CADAM in Malir 89-92? My father was part of that as well. PakADGE (Pakistan Airdefense Ground Environment). 88-89 is when Army separated Air Densfe as separate branch from artillery so there was a bit of turf war there as well. Army wanted to absorb part of ADWC esp the mobile radars (MPDR) and SAM missiles.

In 89-91 we were in Badaber. He left the PAF in 1992.
