No they would rather you buy the viper from.them. if we have a need of 45-60 gunships, they want us the buy Vipers instead of going for ATAK. It will only come if it has Turkish engine. Not happening in the next 2-3 years.

15 were ordered but only 12 were built (I think) before it became apparent to all that US will not let us use CSF and we made it clear we were not paying cash.

Yes 900 millon contract is of 15 zulus, 12 were build then Pakistan specific production halted.
Now we dont we will get 12 or plus 3 as well, if these 3 came in to game then can be new or may be used

That base is NAS Patuxent in Maryland. Our IL78 was parked nearby in Baltimore, Maryland
