After the daily murderous rampage by Israeli force/settlers in the West Bank, Palestinians have said they had enough and gunned down two illegal extremist rats:

2 Israeli settlers killed in shooting attack south of Hebron

BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Two Israeli settlers were shot dead and another injured in a shooting attack on their car in the south Hebron hills in the southern occupied West Bank on Friday, Israel's army said.

An Israeli army spokesperson said shots were fired at their vehicle, with the perpetrator fleeing the scene.

Media reports said that a Palestinian suspect exited his vehicle before firing on the car, reportedly carrying a family of seven, near the illegal Otniel settlement west of Yatta. The suspect then got back into his vehicle and fled the area.

The victims were said to be an 18-year-old and a man in his forties, while a 16-year-old was lightly injured on the foot by gun fire.

Is there anything new? Incidents like that happen all the time. It's just like watching a game and looking at the score board to know which team got the most number of people killed. The rift of Palestinians with the Israeli will not be settled in our lifetime unless one side it totally annihilated. The indifference to so great that there is no way for the to co-exist, not only in their territory but in the whole world.

The international community's inaction is to blame for failing to solve this perennial conflict. Strange thing is though the world thinks a two state solution would be the answer to this, a survey released in September revealed that most Palestinians don't favor a two-state solution. Maybe they want more . . .

Most Palestinians no longer support two-state solution| Reuters
. . . the developments indicated in this poll might have also been triggered by anger at the Arab world as the overwhelming majority believes that Arabs no longer care about the fate of the Palestinians . . . As well as increased doubts about the prospects for a peaceful resolution with the Israelis, there is deep-seated mistrust of Abbas and the Palestinian leadership and growing support for a return to armed conflict with Israel.

Armed conflict. There'll be no peace for a really long time.

I have read that planned two-state solution but I guess it's not the proper solution. With the armed conflict, it's already happening. In fact, it is always happening and just changing in intensity and magnitude so sometimes we think there was no conflict. My solution to that problem is to give Palestinians a new place, say an island in the Spratlys. I know the Arabs will hastily protest but that is the best solution there is - get out of the war zone and build your nation on a new land.
