Philippines and Australia call for restraint in South China Sea

The Philippines and Australia issued a joint statement calling on China for restraint in the disputed South China Sea issue in connection with the deployment of ground-to-air missiles in the Paracel Island chains. The call is no to raise further tensions as China released a statement saying it had weapons in the strategically important region.
