Polish military equipment manufacturer Lubawa and Ukraine's Ukroboronprom announced on 25 December the signing of an agreement to establish a manufacturing facility in Ukraine through a new joint venture (JV).

The JV is expected to be launched in early 2015, with the two sides currently establishing what products and technologies will be manufactured in Ukraine.

Lubawa manufactures a range of camouflage material for the Polish military, as well as personal protection equipment (PPE), individual ballistic protection equipment and harnesses, EOD equipment, camouflage netting, tents and shelters, and CBRN protection equipment. According to the company, the firm is established in more than 40 countries.
