Police brutality may occur if a suspect does not accept to be arrested peacefully. They may physically hurt the arresting officer forcing him/her to use more force than they should. Working as a policeman must be a very difficult job where one can die on any day in the line of duty.

It will take a long time to change the situation. Much longer than it will take to, say, defeat the Daesh. It has got to start with the chilren. It has got to start with the schools. What we see in the news is the manifestation of a mindset that is symtomatic of the deeply-ingrained attitudes of the people of the US.

It is well known that "it has got to start with the children". The fact that the government has such control of what is being taught in our (government) school systems is, in fact, a huge part of all of the problems and breakdowns the US society is suffering.
We have been set on a path of self destruction for decades by the powers that be from within our own government and what we're seeing today are all effects of what used to be called "creeping communism", though many choose to ignore or downplay a reality that they don't even consider to be a possibility.

While America is busy fighting wars overseas, there is a war going on in its own soil and I'm not sure if the President even really cares about this whole thing. I'm talking about the Againt the Cops protests happening in many different states now. This is pretty much leading to nowhere, the way I'm seeing it by the way. What's your opinion about it?

If the president doesn't care (and I'm betting he does) then you can be sure that the powers behind the office most certainly do. It's all leading somewhere. Every problem and glitch in this society today is leading somewhere--namely, destruction of what is in order to remake the nation and it's laws to suit a more oppressive government than we've ever imagined being under.

I just hope this really ends now and that the President could at least look like he cares about those people protesting. So far, I just really heard him speak once about the issue.

Still on the same topic, another person was shot dead by police.
Man attacks policeman with a SHOVEL and knocks him to the ground before officer shoots him dead in tussle after heated argument about snow removal | Daily Mail Online
James Barker, 42, was caught by the officer's body camera swinging the implement at him from a porch in Salt Lake City, Utah, just one street away from Barker's home.

The footage shows the officer - who has not been named - sprawling onto the floor before further blows rain down from above.
When someone gets shot dead or viciously beaten up, most of the time police are accused of using excessive force, they are racist and so on. In an incident like the one I reference, had the man complied with the Police officers requests [that he identify himself] would he have been shot dead? IMO, one shouldn't expect policemen not to protect themselves [if their life is in danger] or use whatever force is necessary to subdue a suspect. If we are to hear less of these incidents then the public must learn to respect policemen/women or their authority.

Well I'm in the UK where people seem to blindly accept police brutality and corruption. The story of Eric Garner is horrific and the video is heartbreaking. I'm glad to see the protests taking place in your country and I really hope they do something to change the situation. I really cannot understand why Obama, not just as a man of color but as President, hasn't addressed this.
The death of Eric Garner and Michael Brown would be retained in my mind since I would never be able to forget those deaths. It is a never ending issue in America and other parts of the world that has any part of police brutality. I would not go and kill the cops responsible for the brutality but it is a something that other people would not mind exercising. I just do not think the issue would go away immediately. We the people have to stop these killings. I think not everyone would agree but we have to start somewhere.

I do hope you are wrong about this but my hope is growing fainter by the day. Since you may probably have more information about this sinister plot to remake the nation, how about sharing some links with us so that we can get up-to-date on the issue?

I agree with you on this. it is just very sad when you really sit down and take a look at things.

It's disappointing to see that the states can police other countries and they can't even police themselves, I think the police force are poorly trained to deal with stressful conflicts, instead of using dialogue and tactical psychology, they are way to quick to exhort to deadly force , I think mainly because they're stressed and it's easier to just shoot someone instead of defusing the situation. If they don't clean up their act and train police officers effectively they'll be the most hated organization in America.

My thoughts are a conclusion I've come up with over the years as I have watched the direction my country has gone in. It is no secret that there has always been at least a small faction of people who have favored socialism and/or communism here. I grew up hearing about "creeping communism" and, actually, not paying it much heed.
In fact, in our increasingly more government controlled schools I grew up being taught not to pay such much heed and it is being taught even more so today.
And all the while in this country our basic freedoms (and morals) have been hacked at and picked apart little by little for decades.
The older people in our society can see it; but the young, not so much.
The young rarely see past what they are being taught at any given time.
How could they?
As for links, if you look I am certain you can find all you'd like to know on the subject and then some. I really don't bother cataloguing such things, as it would take up a great deal of time to do so. Not to mention that if I did spend my time doing so I might well live in a state of severe depression from concentrating too much on the truths thereof.
Without knowing what you are hearing on the subject where you are I could say that it is entirely possible that you might be hearing more of the truth about the direction our country is going in than the general public hears in the US on the syndicated news channels.

First we need to have changes in our law and justice before we judge other countries and think about what they are doing wrong and how we need to make sure prisons are watched. There have been some cases of male wardens or female ones sleeping with inmates, and even helping them get money or drugs and even guns don't know why they would sleep with them. Some may not be getting paid well so willing to be a slave to a criminal who can give more money than what person gets when working.
