Russia, Indonesia sign another BMP-3 contract

Russia and Indonesia signed a $170 million contract for another 22 BMP-3F and a first sale of the BT-3F amphibious vehicle. Indonesia previously sent officials to Russia to inspect, test the BT-3F which is most likely going to phase out the Indonesian Marine's BTR-50s.

as far as I know Indonesia is not locally assembling the BMP-3F. there may have been plans for the BTR-4s they had interest but not the BMP-3s
