Russia wants Turkey to pay for the downed jet

Russia is asking Turkey to pay for shooting down a Russian warjet that purportedly entered the sacred Turkish airspace near the border of Syria. But Turkey hastened to rebut the statement since, according to Turkey with a corroboration from the US that the Russian jet was given ample warning on trespassing the Turkish airspace.

When Russia demanded for an apology, Turkey's president said, they wouldn't apologize. We expect the same response from Turkey. Pay for the downed jet? It's not going to happen.

Compensation? Russia retaliated by bombing a Turkish aid convoy in Syria. Will they be paying for that?

It was only a matter of time before Russia started this one up, and I really doubt nothing will come from it aside from a few passive-aggressive remarks and actions.

It's not the point I know bu the jet in question is not worth the money replacing. By today's standards it's pretty dated and the crew probably didn't even know they were being tracked and fired on until the missile hit them.
