Russia conducted exercises of two fleets at once. The Russian fleet conducted large-scale exercises of two fleets at once, the Pacific Fleet and the Baltic Fleet. More than 60 warships and support vessels, about 35 aircraft of naval aviation, coastal troops and more than 11,000 military personnel are involved in the exercise of the Pacific Fleet grouping. In the course of the exercises, ship groups, together with naval aviation, will search for and track submarines of a mock enemy, and perform combat training exercises. Up to 40 surface warships, boats and support vessels are involved in the exercise of the Baltic Fleet. More than 3,500 military personnel, up to 25 aircraft and helicopters, and up to 500 units of military and special equipment are involved in the maneuvers. The exercises of the Baltic Fleet are scheduled from 5 to 15 June.
