Saudi Arabia is to expand its ballistic missile programme as it bolsters its deterrent to the threat from Iran in the covert arms race unfolding between the arch-enemies of the Gulf.

Riyadh has amassed surface-to- surface ballistic missiles and British-built cruise missiles as it seeks to counter Iran’s disputed nuclear programme.

The threat of a further escalation in the race to acquire more potent missile strike capabilities comes amid Saudi Arabia’s skepticism that nuclear talks between Tehran and world powers will produce a deal that places atomic weapons beyond Iran’s reach.

Saudi Arabia should unveil its nuclear capable missiles that it bought from China to the public. Iranian Missiles can easily be intercepted by Saudi Arabia Defense Systems. The UAE has the Thaad which is much more sophisticated than the PAC-3. With the GCC defense systems combined, Iran doesn't have any chance against Saudi Arabia or any other GCC state. Its better for the Mullah of Iran to think wisely before its too late.

By looking to the situations in ME , the instability of security in our region obliges us to develop/buy huge amount of weapons to defend our selves firstly and stand with our allies, friends secondarily ...

Iran have an expansion goals which goes against GCC national security,so this goals will be eliminated and if Iran lay its gun in our face we'll do the same and wipe it from the map .

However,Lets wait to see the new budget of Iran's government after low oil prices and see whether Iran will continue supporting its militias on its people's account or not .(*:*)
