Saudi Arabia will be the first country that will be visited by Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan. He will undertake the visit in first week of September, according to Pakistani newspapers.
Pakistani site The News said that it is expected that Khan and First Lady Bushra Bibi will also avail the opportunity to perform Umrah and visit the Prophet’s Mosque in the holy city of Madinah.
Recently, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman spoke to Khan over the phone, and congratulated him on his victory in the country’s parliamentary elections.
The Crown Prince expressed his confidence that Pakistan will continue moving forward and developing under Khan’s leadership.

Saudi Arabia is Pakistan strategic partner and both have very strong relationships. Saudi Arabia is a very important country in the region politically, economically and militarily. With the new ambitious leaders of both countries, this visit will definitely remap the relations and will have its affects in the region and beyond. Not to mention the economic opportunities Saudi Arabia is offering as part of MBS 2030 vision, the investments, trades, and energy will dominate the meeting. Imran Khan is determined to bring Pakistan back on the stage, strengthening the economy and political presence. There are many challenges ahead of him internally and externally and Im quite confident he is up for them. No more political blunder. Pakistan has many potentials, untapped resources, workforce, quite growing economy and last but not least well trained and equipped armed forces.
