Pakistan is restoring ruins, which were never used as places of worship, and back in (my) time, there existed no hindu population near those places. In fact there are more Christians around those areas, but than the number of churches in Lahore are over whelming, but that's alright since those churches are neither ruins, neither constructed by state, infact they are well maintained by private, yet sustained funding i.e. by running private schools.

Similarly one could see swell of unplanned ''mosques'' of new born sects. of Pakistani Islam, but those as well are privately funded, by way of charity, drugs and payments collected in lieu of grave worship and manat.

So in given scenario, Hinduism remains the only religion of Pakistan, which takes funds from govt. of Pakistan for construction of their mandirs, followed by state funding for their resettlements.

I personally don't see any sanity in all of this bigotry, but than it's Pakistan, all bets are off!
