Syria truce takes hold despite limited violations

Amid the sporadic gunfire in parts Syria, fighting subsided across the country due to the major ceasefire, the first in the 5-year war. Spearheaded by US and Russia, it is seen as a crucial step towards the end of the conflict in Syria. The war had killed 270,000 and had displaced more than half of the Syrians. It is a bright hope for the battle-scarred country with the special international task force organized by US and Russia.
