That last picture, is that a Grom missile attached to what looks like a Mig-23?

I thought the Grom missiles were done away with years ago %-(

It is phased by several countries but 3rd world nations like Syria and North Korea still field the KH-23
I have learnt something new today. Many thanks :)

It's kind of a bittersweet & nostalgic feeling knowing that something developed and produced during the late 60's is still being used on the front-line today. Same can be said for the Mig-21.

The so called Syrian army has perished long ago. It turned into militias supported by other terrorist militias from Iraq and Lebanon.

Well they certainly know how to bolster themselves and display a strong image. I cannot say that this is irregular from the photos that most military agencies have, though, so I cannot say I am surprised. I just hope that they have a leader who knows who to use their military force. That region is unstable and does not need any more bloodshed.

Powerful stuff... they sure are armed, no doubt about that. A picture of tanks is, in its essence, innofensive and harmful. But we know they use those in their daily lives. Just think about those pictures, and reflect about the current status of the world.
