Hi guys, how do you see a combat helmet of the future? I think that many people here know a lot about military equipment. I am curious about your opinion. Especially the soldier’s or former soldier’s take on it. Or how YOU would like your perfect helmet to be. What functions are most desirable? What was the biggest issue with your helmets? Same questions about gas masks.
I am asking because I am designing a 3D model of the helmet/gas mask of the future (school project). Of course, I want it to look quite modern but I also DO not want to lose focus from the functionality point of view.
You can go crazy, e.g. holographic camouflage instead of actual paint so it can be used in various environments.
Every opinion, idea, and insight will be much appreciated.
