''Disclose, an independent investigative media, published on April 15 a devastating report exposing France’s role in the Saudi-led coalition’s war crimes in Yemen. The coalition has massacred thousands of civilians in operations using weapons supplied by France, Britain, the United States and other countries''

Disclose's official reaction to the developments (French Only)

Actually there is no French involvement in Yemen whatsoever. Only French made equipment such as UAE operated Leclerc. Saudi National forces also uses CAESAR howitzer along the border with Yemen. There is no outsider players in the Saudi led operations in Yemen. The US used to do aerial refuelling for the coalition and it stoped that long ago. No Saudi tankers are doing the refuelling. We would like to see evidence of any involvement of France or any other country for that matter outside the coalition. In fact, only Saudi Arabia and the UAE are involved in Yemen. Qatar was kicked out, Morocco withdrew its support as per the Saudi request so did Jordan. No country has participated post the sead/dead mission. Once Saudi Air force dominated the entire Yemeni air space all countries part of the coalition have taken the back seat as observers.

yes the article is about supplied weaponry. they hold a country accountable for the massive deaths of innocent civilians, as they should. as since not providing the weapons, means your country is thus in no way involved in what's going on in that part of the region.

and not only weapons, french sugar giant tereos is being investigated for selling large quantities of certain sweetening chemicals to iraq/syria, while being aware that it was not used for the intended purpose, but used by isis/daesh to create explosives and kill innocent civilians as well.

You make it sound like, innocent civilians were deliberately targeted, whereas this is war, and collatarel damage is inevitable.

nearly a quarter million in ''collateral damage'' of a country where the total population is apprx 27.5 million is not justifiable in any way, shape or form.

I don't see you blaming Houthis or their Iranian masters, why the lopsided view?

I don't care about blaming anyone, the issue is who is in full control, imposing the blockade, not allowing for it to end, refusing to bring vital aid to those in need and contributing in prolonging and worsening these conditions? if the answer to these questions leads to the so called saudi coaltion with direct support from england and the united states, there's little left to be said.

unless of course ''blame'' is the narrative here and pointing fingers while the preventible deaths continue is more important?

Well there is no blockade on aid, you need to study the Yemen thread to see what the Houthis are up to, and how they hamper aid.

if there wasn't, then lawmakers in the united states would not seek to find and punish officials in saudi arabia involved with it.
''The measures they are considering include sanctions against Saudi officials involved in blockading shipments of humanitarian supplies to Yemen''

You don't know how naieve you sound when you make such silly statements. Study this thread, look at who the agressor is, and what he is up to, and stop defending velayat e faqih mullah terrorists.

That is absurd. No French made weapons involved in the op in Yemen apart from the UAE Leclerc tank. The caesar 155mm howitzer is deployed along the border, not inside Yemen. It has a maximum firing range of 40km so about 20km considering its deployment position. Its used to prevent cross border infiltration by the Houthis. Massive deaths of innocent civilians as you put it is a result of the Houthis shelling everyone inside Yemen, blocking aids and hindering political reconciliation. All of this is Iran/Hizbo tactics to launch an international outcry.

Blockade when the port of Houdiadah is controlled by the Houthis? The port where UN and other countries humanitarian aids arrive to!

No one on earth can sanctions Saudi Arabia. This is not chest-thumping, sanctioning Saudi Arabia = world economy collapse period. Saudi Arabia involvement in Yemen is legitimate and in accordance with international law and UN resolution 2216.
